What is Koitida about?
In Koitida, our mission is to support families, infants, and health care professionals. Their shared encounters and mutual collaboration will help them develop their full breadth of capabilities. In parallel, they will form the basis of the infant’s mental and physical health until adulthood.

What kind of services do you provide to professionals?
In Koitida, we offer:
- an interdisciplinary training programme in the psychodynamic understanding of the perinatal and infant period.
- group discussions of clinical cases within a multidisciplinary team of specialists
- in situ educational programme or clinical supervision tailored to the needs of professionals working in maternity hospitals, neonatal intensive care units, paediatric departments, reception centres for parents and infants, and fertility clinics (in vitro fertilisation units), among others.
From what age is it recommended to assess a child’s capabilities?
The evaluation of infants’ capabilities aims to present to parents the numerous remarkable abilities of their baby. In this way, they get to know their baby better and develop a harmonious parent-child relationship in line with the baby’s peculiarities and unique personality.
Can I choose the specialist who will assist me?
In Koitida, we take your requests very seriously and discuss them in the context of our multidisciplinary team of experts in the neonatal and infant period. We make sure to identify the most appropriate member(s) of the team to provide support tailored to your needs.
Is there a minimum duration of participation in group therapy?
Group therapy meetings are closed. After a group consisting of up to 12 participants is formed, its composition remains unchanged until the completion of the 8 structured group meetings.
